Membership Information

This Society is an organization of dental specialists whose primary concern is the practice, teaching; and research specifically related to the specialty of Pediatric Dentistry and whose members reside and/or practice within the boundaries of the State of Connecticut. Its purpose shall be the advancement of the specialty of Pediatric Dentistry for the benefit of the health of the public. The attainment of its express purpose shall be achieved by dedication to the following objectives:

This Society shall promote the achievement of a high and ethical standard of practice, education, and research in the art and science of all phases of dentistry for children, adolescents, and children with special needs.

This Society shall promote education of health professionals and the public concerning scientific advancements in the dental and general health of children.

This Society shall represent its membership in areas of insurance programs, other health care groups, public relations, governmental agencies, the lay public, and the interests of the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

CSPD Facts

In Feb 2011, the CSPD supported the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Connecticut through participation in the Children’s Dental Health Month Fundraiser organized by the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentistry Fundraising Committee. Approximately $6000 was raised and 15 offices participated.
